The only wooden structure of the Nikolo-Korelsky Monastery to have survived to our day stands in Moscow, on the grounds of the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. The monastery, at the mouth of the Northern Dvina on the shore of the White Sea, is first mentioned in the chronicles in 1419.
