Folk motifs, embroidery and kokoshniks in Ulyana's Haute Couture collections

Today the most significant Russian fashion house, Ulyana Sergeenko, celebrates its 12th birthday with the release of its 21st couture collection. I confess my love for Ulyana! No one knows how to present folk elements so artfully that evening gowns look not like historical costumes from a ball of 1903,

Netflix film by producer Jada Pinkett Smith on a Black Cleopatra and the Ptolemaic dynasty

⚡️Comrades, Cleopatra Was Black⚡️. At least, that is what is claimed in Netflix's new "documentary", produced by Jada Pinkett Smith, the very wife of Will Smith who cheated on him with their son's friend, who began crying "racism! racism!" in 2016 when

Tilda Swinton plays both mother and daughter in “The Eternal Daughter”

The idyllic Tilda Swinton has made yet another mediocre, strained film: "The Eternal Daughter". This time she plays both leading roles: a dusty mother of Victorian character and an obsessive-compulsive daughter, barely distinguishable from one another, who find themselves in a long-since-sold family estate. Tilda&
