And you - when truth of holy thoughts
Rises to do battle with falsehood -
Do not lay upon God's truth
The rotten burden of earthly mail.
Saul's armour is a fetter to it,
Saul's helmet is a burden:
Its weapon is the word of God,
And the word of God is God's thunder!
