Experts of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives reviewed 11,700 grant applications

The time has come to "reap the harvest" for those who did, after all, apply for presidential grants in the field of culture. The experts of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, which this year is distributing 3.5 billion roubles among cultural projects, have familiarised themselves with the eleven thousand seven hundred projects that "declared themselves" for the competition.

An approximate list of those recommended to receive money has already been drawn up. The final one will be determined by the committee responsible for the purpose. Check upon check is quite understandable when such an enormous sum of money is at stake.

Let me remind you that projects of the most varied scale and character were accepted for the competition. Nor did the participants restrain themselves in setting the "price" of their ideas. The only requirement was that they fit into eight thematic areas ("A Nation of Creators", "The Great Russian Word", "I Am Proud", "A Place of Power", "Cultural Code", "Young Leaders", "The History of the Country: a History of Overcoming and Victories. Milestones", "A Multinational People").
