Advice to mothers to stop ironing their grown sons' shirts so that they dare to marry

On World Family Day Pope Francis Spoke of Young People in No Hurry to Marry:.

“We see so many young people who lack the courage to marry... Mothers often come to me and say: do something, talk to my son, he isn't getting married, and he is 37! But, madam, stop ironing his shirts.”

I confess, it is a curious argument from a man who has never been married himself and who seems, all the same, to reduce the role of a wife to ironing shirts 😨
