Museum collection acquires first authentic item linked to Governor Alexander Pilts

Yesterday in Irkutsk a press conference was held on the occasion of my donating to the Muravyov-Amursky Irkutsk Regional Museum of Local Lore a letter from my collection written by the last Governor-General of Irkutsk, Alexander Ivanovich Pilts.

As it turned out, the museum's holdings contained not a single exhibit relating to Pilts, who held the governor's post in 1916-1917. And so my contribution to the museum's collection became the first authentic object connected with the life of Alexander Pilts, Actual State Councillor and Deputy Minister of the Interior.
