Excavations ahead of the rebuilding of the River Station in Tver have uncovered 22 thousand unique objects dating from the 13th to the 20th century
"Among other things, an ice-house (cellar) from the 16th century has been discovered," say the local authorities in a statement.
As for the restoration of the architectural monument, the station building will be built in the same style as its predecessor, erected in 1935-1938 to a design by the architects Ye. I. Gavrilova and I. P. Rasky and the engineer I. M. Tigranov
