The building is phenomenal, dating from the late 1940s, the core of its plant collection came from the Potsdam greenhouse, received in 1947, and the public, well, that is straight out of the early 2000s. What is upcycling, you ask? RomaUvarovDesign uses leftover fabrics from old collections, offcuts and flea-market finds, as it always does, but the present collection is the first for which not a single new item was purchased. The style is classic Roma Uvarov: those in the know will understand, and those who wish to may try it on.
