The exhibition "Byzantine Symphony. Treasures Earthly and Heavenly" has opened at the Museum of the International Numismatic Club in Bolshoy Afanasyevsky Lane.

The display offers a reinterpretation of the legacy of Byzantine art in a contemporary space. Forms borrowed from medieval ecclesiastical and secular architecture create a special atmosphere for communing with objects of antiquity. Through a collection of more than 500 exhibits, including Byzantine coins, works of decorative art, architectural details and archaeological finds, the exhibition tells the story of the history and art of ancient Byzantium.

For our country, as the principal heir to Byzantine culture, this is a major event. Do not miss it.
