An Important Exhibition, "Inhale Exhale" by the Artist Anya Zheludь, Is on at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow: Her Fine Lines Spoke Louder Than Any Words

Metal bars, beds, hospital wards, kettles: all these are not mere objects but traces of presence, occasions for reflection. Her paintings seemed almost empty, yet it was in that very emptiness that their strength was born.

Anna wrote short phrases on the canvas, as though keeping a private diary: "life is shit", "no strength left to live more less", "inhale", "exhale".

She always worked in series, turning drawing almost into a ritual. Once she held an action called "Giving to Good Hands", handing her works over to people who have now brought them to the exhibition. Alongside them are pieces from the Tretyakov Gallery, Garage, MMOMA and other museums.

This is not simply a retrospective. It is a space of memory and of attention to every stroke, every word, every silence.
