Moscow's 99 theatres and concert halls introduce ID-based ticket sales

New rules for buying tickets to theatres and concert halls have taken effect in Moscow. To purchase tickets, one must now present a passport or other identity documents.

The pilot project covers 99 institutions, including the Sovremennik theatre, the Lenkom of Mark Zakharov, the Zaryadye concert hall and the Moscow International House of Music. The aim of the innovations is to ensure the safety of visitors and to prevent the activities of fraudsters and touts
