Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore in the September issue of Vogue Spain, marking the release of Pedro Almodóvar's first English-language film, The Room Next Door, with the two of them as a duo. It is not merely Almodóvar's first film in English, but also his first heavy and harsh drama, arguably little like his other films.

The film is based on Sigrid Nunez's novel What Are You Going Through, about two close friends whose paths have parted over the years, and who were destined to be reunited in sad circumstances.
