Damaged Notre-Dame limestone to be raffled for France's endangered religious heritage

Notre-Dame de Paris is raffling about fifty stones from its historic façade among those who donate €40 or more to the cathedral's restoration before 4 April 2025.

Fragments of limestone that proved too badly damaged for reuse have been cut into pieces weighing from 800 grams, each engraved with an image of the façade of Notre-Dame and the name of the campaign.

Since Notre-Dame de Paris has already been successfully restored, it is reported that the funds will go towards restoring endangered items of religious heritage across France.

The winners of the draw will be announced on 15 April 2025. The organisers separately stipulate that the winning stones may not be sold or given away
