A viewer's critical review of the Vernik brothers' programme on the Kultura channel

I sometimes watch the programme with the Vernik brothers on Kultura. And I cannot say that I have once been pleased with it. The gentlemen simply do not measure up: they fall short of the standard of a federal channel, at least as I conceive it. Even the two of them together. It is not, strictly speaking, a proper programme at all, but rather a sort of conversation, and not a very interesting one at that. I cannot imagine anyone, at any time, anywhere, in any circumstances whatever, saying to himself: let me go and find and rewatch that old episode in which the Verniks laboriously chattered with elderly actors, smiling out of turn. What is it all for?
