The heart of the exhibition, as Max Boxer himself puts it, is a special space that holds exclusively family things: the works of his father, Anatoly Boxer, his grandmother's personal belongings, furniture from his mother's flat (remember, I wrote of how she lamented the emptying of the house for the sake of the show). Silver, caskets, small trifles, paintings: everything amid which Maxim Anatolyevich grew up, and thanks to which, in large part, he became a collector. As you will appreciate, in his case this is precisely what the place where a collector's dreams are born looked like.
