This weekend I am hunting with great interest for works by contemporary artists in the park of the Peredelkino Creative Retreat

The outdoor exhibition "To the Right Lies the White Forest" is dedicated to the memory of the metarealist poet Alexander Yeryomenko, who died only recently. He did not care for Peredelkino, yet made it famous all the same in a landmark poem. The title itself is a quotation from Yeryomenko.

Among the authors who have tucked their art projects away in the shade of century-old trees is, for instance, Povzner himself, and there are 12 participants in all. The exhibition runs until November, and I recommend everyone to set aside a day for the trip: by suburban train, say, it is only 20 minutes from Kievsky station, plus about 15 minutes on foot.

In the photographs, in order: Anton Kraftsky, Alina Brovina, Alexandra Nestyorkina, Alisa Smorodina, Mayana Nasybullova, Anya Mokhova
