From 3 July the Open Studios at Winzavod are open to visitors. Visiting the studios, one can meet the participants of the 11th season: Alisa Smorodina, Yury Chernyshev, Anya Grositskaya, Nadya Petrova, Dina Borovik, Lana Morozova, Marina Glebova, Alexandr Gordeyev, Yevgenia Bolyukh and Vanya Repkin.

The Winzavod Open Studios form part of the strategic programme New Names, which is devoted to the professional support and development of artists.

The mentor of the 11th season of the Open Studios, art historian and lead curator of the Triumph Gallery Polina Mogilina, says that “the motif of the new season is the capturing of borderline states between the real and the irrational, the collective and the intimate, the historical and the mythological, the figurative and the abstract.” According to her, by combining different media and materials in their practice, the artists explore the space of emotional response to external factors and events, attempting to capture a flicker in artistic form.
