From 22 May to 13 July 2025, the Andrey Cheglakov Foundation on Prechistenka will host Boris Kocheishvili's solo exhibition "Cloud, Lake, Tower", timed to the artist's 85th birthday. The project will present to the wider public the many-sided work of one of the most important artists of the generation of the 1970s.

Boris Kocheishvili began his creative path during the Thaw, and his art took shape in an atmosphere of creative exchange with Dmitry Prigov, Fazil Iskander and Eduard Limonov. By the 1970s and 1980s Kocheishvili had already worked out his own plastic language. Kocheishvili consistently defended the right to independence and developed his artistic system free of institutional pressure.

The exposition will unfold across two floors of the Foundation. The first will hold delicate architectural drawings and sculptural reliefs executed in the artist's unique technique. It was these works that formed the central theme of his solo exhibition at the State Tretyakov Gallery in 2021-2022. Here, too, visitors will be able to see a new graphic series of 2024–2025, the artist's daily visual diary.
