Elizabeth II is quite an incredible woman. At the age of 95 she stands at the centre of a gathering of the heads of the world's leading states, full of vigour, brisk, cheerful and looking splendid, carrying herself erect, smiling and representing her country with dignity, despite the fears for her health and all the troubles that have fallen upon her family and upon her personally. Look at these photographs: they show a strong leader and a true monarch. It is splendid that Prince Charles and Prince William are present at the very same G7 meeting, for they have one more opportunity to receive a master class in service at the highest level, even at such an age. And, incidentally, beside people half her age, Her Majesty does not look like an old lady in the least, remaining indisputably beyond comparison.
