A Few Words on the Tretyakov Gallery's Exhibition Plans

The Tretyakov Gallery will open the year with a retrospective of the artist Francisco Infante, "The Formula of Infinity".

In spring the New Tretyakov will host the exhibition "The Road to the East", a project about the Russian artists who worked in Central Asia in the 20th century.

A number of major monographic exhibitions are in preparation for 2025. A large-scale project will be devoted to the work of Boris Kustodiev. The building on Kadashevskaya Embankment will host an exhibition of Ilya Mashkov. One of the key events of summer 2025 will be the project "Karl Bryullov", marking the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian artist. For the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the exhibition "1418 Days" will open, presenting about 250 works devoted to the theme of the Great Patriotic War.

Next year the Tretyakov Gallery will present its first exhibition project in Saint Petersburg, "Russia 1925–2025". Visitors to the Manege Central Exhibition Hall will see works by the classics of Russian art of the past century.
