In my view, Nokias were the greatest telephones of their era, to which we largely owe the shape of modern telecommunications, so I cannot but rejoice that from 15 January 2025 Finland's Aalto University will be showing a design archive…

The archive will include sketches, presentations, advertising materials and interviews with designers. It offers a view of Nokia's projects that were ahead of their time: early social networks, QR codes, VR and other technologies that have since become commonplace. One will also be able to study the design projects of the great brick, the 3310, and of the "banana", the 8110, or of the unusual model 7600, which resembles a mango.

By way of illustration I wanted to gather Nokia telephones of different years, but all the models fitted onto 17 sheets
