Macron posted an amusing video yesterday in which he chats over FaceTime with a representative of some tribe, apparently answerable to France, and takes into consideration a certain demand of the elder. I did not go into the details; the video, after all, was not recorded for that, but for a pretty picture of a solicitous father before the camera, if not of his own children, then at least of nations. But here is what I thought, allowing myself the luxury: since a whole president shows such attention to tribal delegates, might it not be possible, through this grandmother, to pass him a request to save the Louvre and put things in order there?
