Among the forthcoming cultural events, I have noted the musical production by Evgenia Berkovich, "Esther's Black Book", which the Brusnikin troupe will perform at the Boyar Chambers on 9 and 11 December. The staging is devoted to the theme of xenophobia; the action unfolds outside time and space, underlining the bitter permanence of the phenomenon and reflecting contemporary realities alongside certain elements of ancient canonical texts. There are no tickets left for 11 December, but for the 9th there is still a slim chance of getting in. Considering the time in which the young company managed to bring out this production, supporting such a creative gesture is the right thing to do.
