Premiere of “104 Pages About Love” after Radzinsky’s play at the Taganka Theatre

Another premiere this week is "104 Pages About Love", based on the play that made Edvard Radzinsky famous sixty years ago, a play about how people fall into love as one falls under a train. It is the very play on which Natanson based his legendary 1968 film "Once More About Love", with Alexander Lazarev and Tatyana Doronina.

Viktoria Pechernikova has staged at the Taganka Theatre an elegant Thaw-era piece about evenings in the Kometa café, strolls through Moscow at dusk, and the building of relationships in a society that does not think all that seriously about love.

The production will certainly appeal to those nostalgic for Soviet aesthetics and culture, for the absence of bustle and for simplicity of manner
