Will Trump deport Prince Harry?
Will Trump deport Prince Harry? A good, interesting question.
The case concerning Harold's visa and the reliability of his visa documents is to be reheard in court. The story began with the ill-starred and scantly talented memoir Spare, after reading which the right people noticed a discrepancy between the information presented in the book and the data submitted by the prince on his application form. In particular, it concerned a number of episodes in which the prince used prohibited substances, about which he lied on the visa form. This and several other episodes are enough for the data to be deemed false.
For now, the most ardent opponents of the ill-starred prince insist on publishing his visa documents in order to give the case public exposure, while the dispensers of justice are, in all likelihood, awaiting a signal from the White House. And Trump, as is well known, never felt any sympathy for Harry.
We shall see whether he stays in the USA, returns home with nothing to show for it, goes to Canada or sets off on other wanderings. It is not known which outcome Washington and London consider best. We are following developments.
