Preserve My Shadow", built on the interiors and the history of the one and a half rooms in a communal flat at 24 Liteyny, where the Brodsky family lived. Photographs of the unpoetic daily life of a major Russian poet are transferred onto the garden wall in the garden of the Fountain House. It is an excellent interactive project: you press the doorbell and hear the voice of Joseph Brodsky, while inside are the poet's personal belongings, drafts and recordings. The organisers speak of their initiative as a model of poetic archaeology.
