The concept of the exhibition rests on the psychoanalytic theory of Carl Gustav Jung and his notion of the "shadow", the rejected part of the human psyche. Collecting, in this context, is treated as a way of encountering the unconscious, in which the choice of works becomes an act of self-knowledge.

The exhibition brings together 80 works of painting, graphic art, photography, objects, sculpture and ceramics. Among the artists are Maria Agureyeva, Alexandra Gart, Sasha Kokacheva, Haim Sokol, Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov, Dima Filippov, as well as Patricia Ayres, Isaac Chong Wai, David Lachapelle, Evgeny Antufiev, Liza Bobkova, Kirill Garshin, Irina Korina, Yegor Fedorichev and others.

The exhibition will run until 12 October.
