But Christmas is surely not about inclusivity, nor about the brotherhood of foreign creeds, nor about any Oriental rites or political truisms. Christmas is the feast of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let me remind you that, under English legal requirements, the King of England must be a Protestant and a member of the Church of England, and must affirm as much upon accession to the throne. And unless Charles has secretly embraced some Near Eastern faith, as certain other rulers of Europe, now Christian in name alone, have done, to what purpose are these speeches?
