EKONIKA has produced a genuinely stylish stand with very handsome details; I at once had an immersive experience of wielding a silver hammer, but alas, this art object proved to be an integral part of the installation "Through the Looking-Glass of the Shoemaker's Craft", created jointly with the architectural studio Elena Lokastova. And naturally nobody offered to sell me the hammer or present me with it( Many, of course, were more taken with the unique models of footwear and accessories on the luxurious round table, all the more so as the limited capsule was designed specially for the project, but my gaze first of all appreciated the chess-like mood of this mysterious corner, which reveals in its lacquered surfaces and reflections the metamorphoses of a pawn into a queen and of a blank into a finished article
