Khamovniki may get a 100-metre residential complex and a higher permitted building height

Will the cosiest district in Moscow turn into yet another cluster of glass skyscrapers? In Khamovniki, at the junction of Rossolimo Street and Olsufyevsky Lane, a residential complex a hundred metres tall may be built. That is 30 metres higher than the bell tower of the Novodevichy Convent. The house is planned for a plot in the very heart of the district, the clinical campus, where a multi-storey monstrosity has already been put up nearby. But the most dreadful thing is the rise in the permitted building height across Khamovniki, which we learn of quite by chance, from a note in small print. For the moment we still have the chance to take part in the discussion of the development on Active Citizen; if you live nearby, do join in.
