The descent of the Holy Spirit and understanding among speakers of different languages

I watched Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia's Trinity address and was struck by two thoughts: first, that all church communities are in essence a single community of prayer.

And second, that "in founding the Church through the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles, the Lord allows people to understand one another, though they speak different languages, often even better than people who speak the same language, because the language in which the apostles bore witness to Christ was the language of Christ, the language of the Holy Spirit, the language of love…".

The feast of the Holy Trinity has already passed, but I wanted to recall these important words; perhaps, having heard them, someone will find mutual understanding, even without a common language.
