Model of the Memorial to Elizabeth II in St James's Park

A model of the memorial to Elizabeth II in St James's Park. The three-metre bronze figure will be based on a portrait of the Queen in her youth.

In the background one can see a small sculpture of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.

The memorial complex as a whole will include a bridge, garden spaces and several sculptures. The architectural concept is the work of Norman Foster's studio.

The project was unveiled to mark the 100th anniversary of Elizabeth II's birth. Construction of the memorial is due to be completed by 2028.
