Moscow libraries give away withdrawn books via the city portal

A favourite initiative of Moscow's libraries: adopt a withdrawn book. The city portal lists the libraries and the books they are prepared to give away. The books are conveniently sorted by category, author and subject; you can choose a library on the map or simply search for the book you want. A splendid opportunity to find a bibliographical rarity, enlarge the home collection and give books a second life. For this you must register on the site, set the books aside and reserve them, and no more than 10 books may be reserved in a day.
