Keanu Reeves makes his Broadway debut in Waiting for Godot
On 28 September, Jamie Lloyd's production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot will open at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway.
Although Reeves first appeared on the stage as long ago as 1985, playing Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Waiting for Godot will be his first Broadway engagement. He will play Estragon, while Vladimir will be played by the actor's longtime friend, Alex Winter.
The production can be seen at the Hudson Theatre until 4 January 2026.
