How should a cultural manager develop these days?

For a long time the sphere of culture was short of good managers. This hit the regions especially hard, where, without strong personnel, even the brightest creative potential remained within the walls of institutions, without a budget or competent management.

At present, however, the problem is being actively addressed: at the Meganom Academy (the Tavrida.ART project), the “Captains of Culture” personnel programme is now in its second year. Some 700 managers have graduated from it. Over the life of the programme, 38 people have received promotions in their field, and 39 have become project leaders.

The programme runs with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture and helps participants develop their strengths and devise projects to change the approach to our country’s cultural institutions.

Incidentally, Tavrida does not stop there. Registration has opened for a new intake of “Captains of Culture”, which will take place in 2026. If you are a manager in the sphere of culture, it is worth your attention: https://clck.ru/3Qy5ab
