As soon as you say "enough", all your gold will turn to potsherds
The Central Bank will issue collectable roubles dedicated to the cartoon The Golden Antelope.
The issue will form part of the series "Russian (Soviet) Animation". In all there will be three versions of the coin. The silver coin with a face value of 3 roubles will be released in a run of 7 thousand pieces. It is struck from 925 sterling silver, contains 31.1 grams of pure silver and measures 39 mm in diameter.

Two coins with a face value of 25 roubles will also be issued. The coloured version, in copper-nickel alloy, will be struck in a run of 150 thousand pieces and will come in souvenir packaging. A further 850 thousand pieces will be made of nickel-plated steel. This version will have no coloured finish.
The reverse of the coins shows characters from the cartoon, while the obverse bears the traditional design elements of the commemorative coins of the Bank of Russia.
The Golden Antelope was made by the director Lev Atamanov in 1954. The cartoon is based on Indian folk tales and tells the story of an orphan boy, a magic antelope and a greedy rajah.
The total run of the new issue will be 1 million 7 thousand coins. The rarest will be the silver version, with a run of just 7 thousand pieces.
