Friends and colleagues, I see that my announcement about Club 418 has interested and even stirred many of you. I hasten to report from the scene of events, from the final lecture of Club 418, which, like the very first lecture 9 years ago, was given by Edvard Radzinsky. Only the lectures and excursions for club members are coming to an end; the larger programme of major events, open to the public, remains in force. Nadya has just told me in person: “Nobody is going anywhere.”
