Daniela Bianchi and Sean Connery during the filming of Terence Young's From Russia with Love, 1963
In the film based on Ian Fleming's novel, Sean Connery plays James Bond for the second time, while Daniela Bianchi plays Tatiana Romanova, a clerk at the Soviet consulate in Istanbul. The young woman does not suspect that she is being manipulated by the criminal organisation SPECTRE, which intends to use her to lure Bond into a trap and eliminate him. Amid espionage, seduction and deceit, their flight aboard the Orient Express leads to one of the best-known denouements of the early years of the super-agent saga. The success of the film helped to secure Sean Connery's place as Agent 007 for many years to come
