# Le mot « strafokamil » dans le récit de voyage en Égypte du hiérodiacre Jonas

Strafokamil : strafo (oiseau) + kamil (chameau) = l'autruche, aussi surprenant que cela paraisse. Le mot fut introduit par l'hiérodiacre Jonas, qui voyagea en Égypte au XVIIe siècle : « L'oiseau est semblable au chameau et très grand, son sabot a deux doigts. »
