# Chapeau de Pie VII, porté en 1814 pendant sa captivité à Savone sous Napoléon

Pie VII portait ce chapeau en 1814, durant sa captivité à Savone : le pontife avait été jeté en prison pour avoir refusé de se soumettre à Napoléon. Au bout du compte, Pie non seulement revint à Rome, mais survécut à Bonaparte
