Lorsqu'on annonça en 1821 la mort de Napoléon au roi d'Angleterre George IV, on lui dit : « Sire, votre plus grand ennemi est mort »

On prétend que le roi répondit ceci, songeant vraisemblablement à son épouse : « Grand Dieu, serait-ce elle ? »
