# Une observation d'orthographe historique

Selon le manuel de l'Académie des sciences de 1958, il convient d'écrire « Муж с женой пошли на огород » (le mari et sa femme sont allés au potager), au pluriel, puisque les sujets, le mari et la femme, sont sur un pied d'égalité. Mais « мать с ребенком пошла на огород » (la mère et son enfant est allée au potager), au singulier, car ici l'égalité n'est pas encore acquise : l'enfant est subordonné à la mère.

Mais les féminins de métier sont encore loin, et pour l'instant c'est « инженер Смирнова уехала » (l'ingénieur Smirnova est partie)
