Au fait, la tiare de la princesse Romanova est signée de la maison Chaumet et s'appelle Lacy. Avant Victoria Romanovna, elle n'avait appartenu à personne. Pour sa confection, on a employé 438 diamants, dont des pierres de cinq carats et de deux carats. Avant Bettarini, parmi les princesses Romanov, la tiare de Chaumet avait été portée, par exemple, par la grande-duchesse Maria Pavlovna l'aînée, belle-fille d'Alexandre III, qui possédait une tiare Cascade ornée de diamants briolettes.
