Représentation de Mithra aux Thermes de Dioclétien : un flambeau dans une main, une épée dans l'autre, le bonnet phrygien sur la tête. Chez les Hellènes, ce bonnet était un symbole de liberté, tout comme, du reste, pendant la Révolution française.
