« Eh, Petka, Petka, j'ai connu un communiste chinois du nom de Tsé Tchouang. Il faisait souvent le même rêve : il était un papillon rouge voletant parmi les herbes. Et quand il s'éveillait, il ne parvenait pas à comprendre si c'était le papillon qui avait rêvé qu'il faisait du travail révolutionnaire, ou bien le clandestin qui avait fait un rêve où il butinait parmi les fleurs. … »

« Et que lui est-il arrivé ? »

« Rien. On l'a collé au mur et on l'a réveillé. »
