La maison d'Odessa où vécut Alexandre Sergueïevitch Pouchkine. C'est ici que se trouvait l'Hôtel du Nord, et Pouchkine y résida un mois, durant l'été 1823\. La rue s'appelait alors rue des Italiens (Italianskaïa) ; en 1880, on la rebaptisa rue Pouchkine. En 1959, un musée littéraire et mémorial y fut ouvert
