A Paschal Miracle Is Entered in the Chronicle of the Kyiv Caves Lavra under the Year 1463.

“One of the brethren” entered the Near Caves, where the bodies of the departed saints lie at rest, and cried out: “Holy fathers and brethren, today is a great day for us: Christ is Risen!”

*“And beneath the dark vaults of the monastery caves there rang out in answer from every side: ‘Truly He is Risen!’* 
*The dead heard the Paschal greeting. The departed saints replied to it.”*
