Prince Harry's book wrongly claims that all royal corgis descend from Queen Victoria's dog. In fact, corgis appeared in the royal family only in 1930\. The first was a corgi named Dookie. Princess Margaret had a corgi called Jane. All the Queen's corgis descend from her favourite dog, Susan, who was given to Elizabeth on her 18th birthday. Susan lived until 1959
