This year Holy Week for the Orthodox falls from 26 April to 1 May. I offer a set of desktop wallpapers, one for each day of the week before Easter:
A close-up of the 2,000-year-old tree from the Garden of Gethsemane.
The stone from the Church of All Nations on which Christ prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest, and where he spoke the words "let this cup pass from me".
The walls of the underground cave in which Jesus was held until his interrogation before Caiaphas.
The branches of a thorn bush growing by the Church of Dominus Flevit (the Lord's Tears), where Christ halted before entering Jerusalem and wept over the fate he foresaw for the city.
A 1st-century AD tomb inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is how the grave of Jesus might have looked.
A purple cloth draped over the crucifix, a reminder of the coming Easter service on Sunday.
