Now that is news!

The director of the State Historical Museum has announced that in 2026 the museum will bring the legendary Terracotta Army to Moscow.

We are currently in active negotiations with our colleagues from the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Heritage Promotion Centre and the Museum of the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. We plan to bring to Moscow unique life-size figures of warriors, weapons, ancient ornaments and everyday objects of the Qin era (3rd century BC), revealing the history of the tomb's creation, its significance for world culture, and its immense historical, scientific and artistic value

**The exhibition "Terracotta Warriors: The Legacy of the First Emperor"**, devoted to one of the chief archaeological wonders of the world, the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (3rd century BC), promises to become the largest Russian-Chinese exhibition project to date.

The exhibition presents one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century: the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987\. The tomb of the first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, discovered in 1974 in the vicinity of the city of Xi'an, is a grandiose funerary complex: 8,000 warriors, 130 chariots and 670 horses
